Equine assisted therapy has been utilized throughout the United States for over thirty years. It is a proven method to exercise, mobilize, and motivate the mind and body.
HELP's instructors and therapists work closely with other professionals and families to individualize every session to meet each client's goals. This team effort challenges clients to use their equine skills to benefit their daily lives.
Safety is the foremost concern. Each client works with qualified instructors/therapists, volunteers, and equine partners. Each team member has been screened and trained to make each session a success.
We are proud to offer various equine assisted therapies, including therapeutic riding and equine facilitated psychotherapy/equine facilitated learning. We are able to conduct personalized sessions to meet a variety of challenges.

HELP is now the Horse Empowered Learning Programs! The board and staff are proud to announce that HELP is now officially Horse Empowered Learning Programs. This name change will open doors to a myriad of inclusive possibilities and matches the growth of the equine assisted activities and therapies at HELP. We will continue to provide quality equine assisted therapies to our clients in the greater Austin community.
